Vision and Mission

PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAY, DIMAPUR was established in the year 1983 in a temporary building. Over 40 years of it’s journey, the school continues to remain a major landmark of day school education in the District in particular and the state in general. It has become the most sought-after day school in Dimapur township & also the state.

1. The first vision of PM SHRI KV-Dimapur is to train every child for it’s overall growth in tune with the NEP-2020 to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
2. Second is to Create a cohesive identity of a ‘ PM SHRI KV-Dimapur(Nagaland)’ whose learning orientation cultivates ingenuity and innovation, courage and compassion with an inherent spirit of universal responsibility.
3. Third vision is to Engender a culture of continuous ‘lifelong learning’ through the development of curricula and innovative pedagogy.
4. Fourth, is to Build synergy at various levels of its human resources to facilitate a safe, healthy, caring and student’s cantered co-educational living and learning’ space.
5. Last but certainly not the least, develop and sustain quality systems in School keeping in mind that every child enjoys learning in a caring environment.
